Design and Permits
It will pay in the long run to develop a design plan for your equestrian facilities that includes everything you want on site such as stables, a tack room, feed room, storage area, riding arena and paddocks etc. This is where your equestrian specialist and architect will be helpful.
Also, have a look around. See what other people have done, and be inspired.
Once you know what you want your horse home to look like, the next step is to ensure your plans comply with local building regulations, and then obtain any required permits or approvals.
There’s no point in building equestrian heaven only to have the local council pop by and order you to rip it down.
